About Me
Hello and welcome! I’m Candace Renee Owens, a published poet and devoted mother and the CEO of Poetry Pioneer LLC, based in Kentucky, USA. Poetry has always been my sanctuary—a way to navigate life’s beauty and hardships, transforming emotions into art. Writing became my voice From a young age, a guiding force through triumphs and trials.
My journey has been one of resilience. Battling severe endometriosis led to multiple surgeries, including a life-threatening complication in 2016 that deepened my appreciation for life. These challenges ignited my passion for authenticity, vulnerability, and the power of words to heal and inspire.
In 2024, my debut book, The New World Light – Poetic Affirmations to Create Heaven on Earth, received the International Impact Book Award in the Poetry category. My poem, Please Be Kind, struck a chord with thousands, has over 11,000 likes on Instagram, and has reached over 1.9 million people. It has since been transformed into an AI-generated song, now serving as the theme song for my cable show, Candace Moments.
Beyond poetry, I host an international poetry podcast, uniting creative minds across the globe, produced in partnership with Arts So Wonderful and CCTV Vermont. Embracing innovation, I also explore the intersection of AI and creativity, using technology to push artistic boundaries and inspire new forms of expression.
