Hello and welcome! I'm Candace Owens, a published poet, devoted mother, and life enthusiast currently based in Kentucky, USA. Since I was in a little girl poetry has been my outlet—a source of solace and expression. My journey through personal and professional challenges has awakened me to my true passion for creativity. While pursuing some college education in Sociology, my profound expertise is rooted in life's intricate lessons, and creative writing, particularly poetry has become my voice—a medium to inspire resilience and hope in others.
Facing significant health battles, including severe Endometriosis, marked my journey with resilience through nine abdominal surgeries. Post-2020, I believe in spreading awareness, embracing authenticity, and advocating for vulnerability. Join me in a collective mission to change the world, one person at a time. Let's foster a community where openness and understanding flourish, creating a world teeming with awareness, authenticity, and unwavering hope. Together, let's make a difference.
My mission is to spread joy and optimism to those seeking it through the power of poetry and storytelling. I aim to unite with fellow creators and build a safe, welcoming platform where writers and poets worldwide can collaborate, amplifying their voices to create positive change on a global level. In partnership with Arts So Wonderful, I'm leveraging podcast and cable show platforms to connect with poets and people around the world. Together, let's illuminate the world with the transformative power of words! Reach out, and let's forge connections!
